The YA Collective

Become one of our Family Festival Youth Curators and help our coordinators and creative mentors shape YA literature sessions.

We’re looking for people aged 13-17. If you love books, storytelling and festivals, this is your chance to gain skills and experience curating and working on a major event. It’s a rare opportunity to help us program your dream YA sessions—whether that's interviews, panel discussions, workshops, or something entirely new—with our star creatives.

As a Youth Curator, you’ll also:
- Get special mentoring and training upfront
- Meet creatives including perhaps your favourite author or illustrator
-Get a backstage pass to the Green Room
- Take home a complimentary pack of books
- Be profiled as a Youth Curator on our social media
