Connecting Through Creativity

During this time of change and uneasiness, we believe connection is more important than ever. Without our normal freedoms to do so, we are forced to find new ways to connect – whether it’s with your neighbourhood or community, with new technologies, with the environment around you, or even within your own family or self.

We challenge YOU to get creative using a method of visual storytelling to explore the topic of CONNECTIVITY during the global COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.

Create your artistic response in any visual method that inspires you! Some examples include 2D Arts (drawing, illustration, painting, collage, photography, comic, etc.); Video (video diary, performance, stop motion, interview, short film, etc.); and 3D Arts (ephemeral art, land art, sculpture, pop up book, etc.).
Creative Mentors

Each week on Facebook and Instagram, we’ll be featuring one of our amazing creative mentors, James Foley, Cristy Burne, Remy Lai and Beci Orpin, to offer tips, tricks, and inspiration along your creative journey. Do you have a question that you’d love their take on? Send it our way and they might just answer it in one of the posted videos!
